Craig High School C.O.A.C.H Program The term COACH conveys a dynamic relationship of purpose and guidance. It signifies a position of admiration, encouragement, and unification. Based on these ideas, The Craig High School has chosen this acronym as the foundation for our internal student-parent support program.

Student-Parent Program is designed to offer students the guidance and individual attention necessary to set/meet personal and academic goals and to develop as a person and a scholar. In addition, the C.O.A.C.H. program provides our parents with an ongoing awareness of student progress and direction. Each student at Craig High is assigned a faculty member who serves as his/her C.O.A.C.H. throughout their four years at Craig High School. This specifically selected point-person provides to our students, parents and other faculty members an internal network of communication, support, and follow through that encourages, promotes, gauges, and assesses a student’s progress at Craig High. The C.O.A.C.H. program also supports CHS mission of building independent, self-aware learners. The student and their C.O.A.C.H. will meet at regularly scheduled intervals throughout the school year that coincide with semester performance reports and dialogues including progress reports, report cards, and parent teacher conferences. In some cases, they will meet on a more constant schedule based on the individual needs of the student.
