Dan Rynkowski (8th, '04) Returns from Climbing Sojourn |
|
Dan Rynkowski (8th, ’04) stopped by Craig during his spring vacation. He had just returned from Red River Gorge, KY where he and four others rented a cabin for a week in order to do some spelunking and rock climbing in the Mammoth Caves. Dan got into climbing a year ago and spent the summer of 2008 climbing the “Gunks” (Shawangunks) in the Catskills. When asked about his most challenging climb, he said “hanging upside down in the Mammoth Caves” (a 5.13 rated climb -- top difficulty is 5.15) “was amazing.”
Dan is finishing up a PG year at Cheshire Academy in CT and has been accepted at Colby-Sawyer College in NH. He is waiting to hear from Curry College in Boston, his first choice, where he would have a chance to see Libby (class of 2007). Dan’s long term plans are to find a job in international business management. To that end, he is currently taking college level computer and web design courses along with “Global Issues” at Cheshire.

News from Dan Rubin (Class of 2008) |
|
Dan has just updated Craig with the news that he is playing Rugby for Curry College this fall as a freshman and is known as the "Fox". He has scored a "try" (touchdown) and has made over 50 tackles! On top of that, Dan is making Dean's List for the fall semester. He loves Curry and is obviously doing extremely well. Congratulations, Dan!

Sportscaster Kevin Wolfe (Class of 2005) |
My name is Kevin Wolfe and I am going into my senior year at Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in radio and television. My interest in sports began when I was about five years old when I would sit on the couch with my father, uncle and grandfather and watch the New York Mets take the field at Shea Stadium. I have always had a passion for both baseball and football. The most exciting time of the year for me is every September when The New York Giants kick off another exciting football season. Out of all the topics that are newsworthy, sports just happens to be my favorite. I am very grateful to have a great co-host in Andy "The Walrus" Loigu join me every Thursday night to chat about sports. Andy is a sports columnist for the Warren Reporter a local newspaper for the Hackettstown area. Andy is so knowledgeable about sports and I am so grateful to be able to call him my co-host. I want to thank him for all that he has done to make the Sportsbuzz a success. What would I do without Queen J (Jen Pace) who is my board operator and phone call streamer? Jen has been a great addition to the Sportsbuzz and is very passionate and dedicated at what she does. Jen recently decided to add a sports gossip section to the show and it has become a big hit for our listeners. You can hear Queen J's gossip story every Thursday at 10:40 and 11:40 PM. Queen J's addition of the sport's gossip segment has brought a certain flare and sense of excitement to the Sportsbuzz. I am glad to have such a great group of people working alongside of me every Thursday night.

Give us a call and tell us what's on your mind at 908-852-4545 once again that's 908-852-4545 and don't forget The Sportsbuzz is the only sports talk show where we don't cut you off after 40 seconds and there is never a busy signal.
THANK'S TO ALL OF MY LISTENER'S AND SUPPORTERS WHO CALL IN EVERY WEEK!!!
