Third Annual Alumni Basketball Game a Success
Thanks to
all the Craig alumni (from as far back as the class of '87!) who
attended the reception and basketball game on Friday, January 16 -- it
was wonderful to welcome back so many familiar faces.
Scott Feldmar (LS, '83)
Scott attended Randolph High School, then the County College of Morris. His first job was in construction, but he subsequently became a private investigator and has been in that field for 13 years.
Peter A. Leman (LS '85)
Peter writes that after Craig he attended Mt. Lakes High School and the University of Hartford where he graduated second in his class in the business school. He worked for KPMG, a leading accounting firm before becoming Assistant Director of the Property and Casualty Audit Department at Hartford Financial Services Group.
Ben Beshaw (LS '90)
Ben attended Verde Valley School in Sedona, AZ where he was awarded first prize for 2-dimensional art in a contest among all area high schools. He completed his BFA degree at the School of Visual Arts in New York in 1998. Among Ben's publications are the 12/18/01 cover of The Village Voice, SVA Portfolio 19, CMYK Magazine, Visual Arts Journal and New Business Records.
Alexander Aspero (LS '90)
After graduating from Morris Catholic High School, Alex received a BA degree in Communications from Seton Hall University in 2001. He moved to Colorado in the fall of 2001 where he worked at KKTV - a CBS affiliate. In late July of 2002 he returned to New Jersey to work in his father's law office. This past spring Alex underwent brain surgery to alleviate a seizure disorder and now writes, "...I am happy and proud to say I have been seizure free for 2.5 months..." He is now on the lookout for a job, possibly with a television station.
Alexander Anievas (LS '91)
Alexander attended Madison High School where he played football and golf. He earned a degree in East European Politics from University College, London, and currently is a summer intern for Global Policy Forum at the U.N. in New York.
Christopher Coniglio (LS, '94)
Chris attended Bayley-Ellard High School in Madison and then enrolled at Beacon College in Leesburg, Florida where he earned a BA degree in Liberal Studies. Chris is currently living in the Tampa area.
Nick Day (LS, '95)
Following Craig, Nick completed High School at the Woodhall School in CT where he won the Dorothy Peirce award for Academic Achievement. Nick graduated magna cum laude from Beacon College in May, 2003 with a BA degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Business and Computers.
Thank You Selena!Selena Iscaro (LS, '98) recently visited the Craig Upper School as part of our new College Alumni Program. She met with current 11th grade students and shared tips on achieving success in college. Selena graduated from Randolph High School in 2002 and is currently attending the County College of Morris.
Badgers Overseas
Jon Stock (LS, '95) graduated from North Warren HS and then joined the Marine Corps. Following his training at Parris Island and Camp Lejeune, Jon was deployed in a Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Mediterranean area, then to Okinawa and recently, to Iraq. While in Okinawa, he ran into another Marine, his close friend from Craig, John Pluchino (LS, '96).
Kyra Ann Douglass (LS '97)
Kyra graduated from Pequannock Township High School in 2001 having won varsity letters in both basketball and soccer. She is currently majoring in psychology at Centenary College.
Casey and Devlin Hennessy
(LS, '02; LS '00)
are both at Ramapo High School.
Steve Miller (LS, '00)
Steve is attending Randolph High School and will graduate in 2004. He won a award in Forensics and has been asked to audition for the NJ Shakespeare Festival at Drew University.
Mike Cozine (LS, '00 - 6th grade)
Mike is attending Kinnelon High School and will graduate in 2006. As a 9th grader, Mike has already earned his varsity letter in ice hockey.
Andrew Suthern (US, '03)
Our first Craig Upper School grade graduate will be attending Sacred Heart College in the fall and plans to pursue a career in athletic training and sports medicine.
