College Professor Lectures at Upper School
The Craig Upper School United States History classes were treated to a guest lecture by William Paterson Professor Burton Weltman. Professor Weltman led the class with a wonderful interactive discussion of The American Revolution.
"These are some sharp students, all of whom knew their facts and were eager to participate" said Professor Weltman.
Professor Weltman focused on the outcome of the Revolution and how it has shaped the world we live in today. "Professor Weltman opened my eyes to ideas I never thought existed!" said Student Council Representative Doug Robins. Another Student Council Representative, Mike Berman, had this to say, "His lecture made me realize the type of work and analysis that will be required in college, and I loved it!"

This visit is the first time a college professor has come to the Craig Upper School to teach a class and it will not be the last. Currently history teacher, Jonathan Russo, and Professor Weltman are working on a schedule to bring Craig Students to William Paterson and other professors to the Craig Upper School. Professor Weltman¹s next visit to Craig is scheduled later in the fall.
