Students at Craig Upper enjoy an afternoon of baseball, hotdogs, and comaraderie.

The Craig Upper School celebrated the Spring with a School Spirit day on Friday May 27th. This event was the third and last of the Spirit Days held during the school year. The afternoon started with a lively game of baseball on the P.A.L. field in Lincoln Park between teams captained by Mr. Russo and Mr. Argenti with Mr. Giordano serving as pitcher. After the game, the students moved back to school for an outdoor lunch on the grill prepared by Mr. Caparulo and Mr. Howard.

The purpose of these Spirit Days, as the name suggests, is to build a sense of school pride and community. Judging by the energetic participation of all in attendance, faculty and students alike, that purpose was well achieved. The timing was also perfect for a boost of school spirit just before the serious preparation for final exams in another week.
