Our college preparatory program focuses on developing strong written language skills, strategies for content acquisition and retention, and the social, behavioral and self-advocacy skills that are vital to success in the extended community. The curriculum is integrated, interdisciplinary and project-based and is designed to facilitate learning that extends beyond the classroom. Strategies solidly grounded in research such as the Strategic Intervention Model developed by Dr. Donald Deshler at the University of Kansas, improve writing skills and comprehension. The liberal arts curriculum encompasses a full range of high school subjects consistent with the New Jersey state requirements for a high school diploma.
