I am stating it now- I do not like when we turn our clocks back and we are told that people “get an extra hour in bed but it does get darker earlier in the evenings”. I am dreading the change on November 5. I am preparing now. I am getting my exercise in now with no headlamp. I am taking longer walks as I know I will be splitting my time between the outside and inside world soon. I am preparing for change. If you did not know, experts say- 1. Stick to your night time routine. 2. Don’t take long naps. 3. Get natural sunlight during the day.
So what can one do to make the experience of the change of seasons easier.? For one, talk to your children about how they feel and find new activities for the winter months that will be here soon.
