July 6 – July 30 (Monday-Thursday)
Monday – Thursday 8:50am-12:35pm
The Craig High School Summer Academy will be an online program this summer. Although our format has been forced to change what will not change is our personal and dynamic approach to our 4-week high school academic program. Within our program, we teach, encourage, and promote organizational, note-taking, and research skills. Our goal is to provide to our teen scholars a foundation of practical and effective content acquisition skills that allows them to grow as the independent learners we aspire for them to be.
In addition to their four courses in Literature, Writing, Math, and Multi Media Presentations, we also provide a support period where students have daily access to work with any of their teachers that they choose to. There are also opportunities for students to work on their High School summer reading assignments.
In our weekly communication to our parents, we share updates on what is being covered and how we are covering it! In addition, at the end of the 4-week program parents will receive a summer progress report conveying areas of growth, supports and accommodations that your teen benefited from, and insights into their progress as an independent learner.
Please note that there are different forms for current Craig students and for non Craig students. I am available to answer any questions. Looking forward to seeing you this summer.
