Badgers Hang Tough in Home Opener vs. Chancellor Academy: The Badgers opened their season last Thursday against Pequannock neighbor, Chancellor Academy. Although the outcome was not in the Badgers favor, the game was much closer than the final score indicated. Junior CJ Gizzi who led the team in scoring with 9 points and Junior Ben Flayderman kept the Badgers in the game as it was all knotted up at half-time. Great hustle was shown on defense from Senior Captain David Altman, Junior Jacob Raff, and Sophomore Jarod Christern. A big bright spot for the Badgers team was from two new faces, Freshman Derek Veal (3 points) and Sophomore Maya “Wikipedia” Wicki (2 points). Big shout out to clock operator Victoria McHugh, score keeper Mark Zarnick, and recently added team manager, Wes Acciarito for keeping the books. The Badgers are home again this Wednesday, Jan. 16th as they take on Deron High of Montclair. Tip off is 9:38AM in the BHS Main Gym.

Craig High Collecting “Box Tops for Education”: Craig High has been collecting Box Tops for Education since 2014 and as a school, we have been able to trade each box top collected in for ten cents apiece! All from just cutting out those little “pink and blue squares” that say BOX TOP FOR EDUCATION on so many of the products we use on a regular basis.
We have set $250 as our lofty goal for this school year and we have until March 1st to pull this off. The only way we are going to come close is if we all come together and start clipping as a community. Below is a link to all of the products that carry the BOX TOP FOR EDUCATION logo. The process is simple. Cut them out, send them into the main office and we will turn them into cash for Craig HS! Let’s make it happen!https://www.
