Craig School New Jersey

HS Week Of May 31, 2021

This Monday is Memorial Day, a day for honoring our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.  It is a day of reflection and a day of community.  But this year there is an additional, special aspect to this day.  That aspect is seeing family that we have not been able to.  Our hope to our Craig Community is that your weekend is filled with hugs, burgers (including veggie burgers), and time with the ones that you have missed the most during the past year. Have a wonderful long weekend!

The Craig School High School Prom 2021 “Starry Night”

Last Saturday Night, the Craig High student body successfully pulled off our first solo prom in over 6 years!  The night began for our 40 guests with an antipasti and chips at each table.  This was followed by an open soda bar and a sit-down dinner with a menu that included Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parm, Baked Ziti, Pasta with Olive Oil and garlic, and a largely untouched salad to add some additional colors to each plate.   Then the dancing began and only let up for a brief spell so our guests could enjoy our Sundae-making bar.

Thanks to Mrs. Cap for the amazing pics, our prom mom's Mrs. Walsh and Ms. Jahn, Mr. McHugh as our official prom caterer, and Mrs. Bardales and Mrs. Murphy for complimenting our sundae bar with additional desserts.  Feel free to visit our CSHS Prom Starry Night Shutterfly page at

The Craig School’s Annual

Fundraising Event

Tuesday, June 15th.

This year we have created an event that everyone can enjoy. We are incredibly excited about this opportunity to gather together in support of Craig. Here are some ways that you can help to make this our most successful event to date:

GOLF: Sign up to golf at Ballyowen on Tuesday, June 15th. Bring your friends, bring your neighbor, bring your brother or sister and join us for lunch, golf and dinner!

DINNER: If you have previous commitments during the day, head to Ballyowen for dinner and the opportunity to meet new friends.

TEE BOX SPONSOR: If none of these options work out for you, sponsor a Tee Box which will be displayed on the course during the day. It’s a great way to honor a Craig School teacher or faculty member or even proudly flaunt the name of your student or graduate.

AMAZON WISHLIST: Purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List is always a fun and easy way to contribute to the fundraiser. You’ll be amazed at how your Amazon donations get transformed into fun packages that result in lots of bidding!

As the date of the Annual Golf Outing/Auction gets closer we will have an online auction that all can participate in. You’ll be able to bid on an assortment of items while at Ballyowen or from the comfort of your home.

Thank you and I hope to see you up at Ballyowen on Tuesday, June 15th!

If you have any questions or would like to be more involved, please contact me at or 973.334.1295 ext. 229.
