On Saturday, May 21st, The Craig School will be hosting a very special walk for a very special member of our school community. It is a walk to honor Mrs. Janet Cozine and the impactful role she has played in the lives of so many Craig families that have come through our school doors over the past 42 years. Why a walk you ask? The answer is routine. In addition to her daily commitment to all of the students and teachers of the Craig School, Mrs. Cozine also had a daily routine of walking the Boulevard of Mt. Lakes. That being said, what better way to honor her than to join her on this special walk!
Activities will kick off at 10:00 am on our Mountain Lakes campus with morning greetings and some pre-walk music followed by a stroll down the Boulevard alongside Mrs. Cozine. After the short symbolic walk, we will end up back on campus to continue our celebration with prizes and a visit by the Kona Ice Truck. The only thing that will make this day a little more special is if all of the students, families, and teachers of the Craig School High School are there so mark your calendars for Saturday, May 21st at 10 AM. You can RSVP at https://www.craigschool.org/alumni-events/

PACS
PACS- Faculty Appreciation Week 2022: Each year in May, schools around the country celebrate Faulty Appreciation Week. At Craig, our PACS has designated the week of May 2nd as our Appreciation week and has planned some wonderful events and treats for our fantastic teachers and staff to show our appreciation for all that they do. You can help PACS celebrate our teachers and faculty by sending in a dessert for our May 4th (WEDS) faculty luncheon. Here is what PACS has planned for this week:
Dear High School Parents,
PACS has organized a luncheon for the high school faculty as it was outlined in last week's newsletter. It has come to our attention that there is no sweet to end the lunch. That is where our parents can help. We have created a sign up genius for parents who wish to bring something. The high school faculty is having lunch on Wednesday May 4th, so desserts can be dropped off either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. If you have any questions, please reach out to Amanda Jahn at amandajahn77@gmail.com.

Thank you for all of your support for the Janet M. Cozine Auditorium renovation. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this project, and for those who have gotten involved and shared their experiences at The Craig School.
Our campaign continues and as of today we have raised $165,000 with gifts from every constituency of the school: students, parents, faculty, staff, former faculty, alumni, alumni parents, and grandparents. A testament to Janet's 42 year career and the impact made on the lives of so many families that are a part of Badger Nation.
Our goal is to raise $265,000 for the completion of the project. If you have not given to the campaign, please consider a gift today to celebrate our esteemed Director of the Lower and Middle School, Janet M. Cozine.
