They have over 11,000 students, 12 campuses across the US, and provide technical training for students seeking careers in the automotive, diesel, motorcycle, marine and collision repair industries. One of our recent grads is a UTI student and is currently enrolled in their NASCAR Technical Institute, the only NASCAR endorsed program in the country that trains students on engine fabrication, welding, aerodynamics, and pit crew essentials.
UTI (https://www.uti.edu/locations/new-jersey/bloomfield) has direct relationships with approximately 30 manufacturers, such as Ford, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Cummins, and Harley-Davidson. Aidan will be attending the Bloomfield branch, and he will be enrolled in the Automotive and Ford Training Program. Throughout the program’s curriculum, he will learn how to work with diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles. The Bloomfield branch is UTI’s newest trade school campus with state-of-the-art classrooms and labs. All instructors have real-world experience in their field and upon completion of the program, Aidan will be prepared to pursue a career in the automotive or diesel industry. Way to go Aidan!

“Pho”Vember is Here!- High School Photography Competition: Last year's “Pictoberfest” was such a pumpkin smashing success that Mrs. Tartaglia has decided to do it again, November style! Welcome to “Pho”vember!!!
Phovember is a school-wide themed “pho”tography competition that provides our student shutterbugs the opportunity to share their craft and unique perspectives with the Craig Community. And did we mention there would be prizes? Our top three prize winners will receive an all-expense paid lunch from a local Pho restaurant. If you don’t know what that is, get busy googling because it's delicious!
Our Phovember Theme is what brings you happiness during the month of November? Is it nature? Perhaps a family pet? A classic car or a simple “Have a nice day” sign at your favorite diner? Mrs. T will be providing our students tips on how to create a great photo of a moment that truly reflects what sparks fall joy for them. Our ultimate goal is to cover our designated Phovember wall with pictures that are guaranteed to make others smile!
Our Phovember Guidelines:
Phovember pictures can be submitted now through Friday, November 19th. Remember, objects only, no people, Friday November 19th, 3 max, email to Mrs. T! Our winners will be announced after Thanksgiving Break!.
Craig School High School 8th Grade Shadow Program: As a part of CSHS tradition, our Craig 8th graders spent part of a day last week visiting and experiencing us up close and personal. The purpose behind the CSHS shadow program is to allow our 8th graders to experience a high school setting. For some, it was their first high school visit so what better and safer place to start the exploration process than CSHS! Our guests did a walking tour, spent time in our classrooms, joined in on a Q and A, hung with some of their former classmates, and enjoyed the CSHS Break Bar.
Afterschool Intramural Soccer League-Week 1 Results: Last week was week one of the Afterschool Intramural Soccer League. Our 10 player League began our practice with passing, shooting, and defending drills and then it was game time. In a high scoring affair Team Red made a 2nd half comeback to take down Team Black 11-8. Red was led by the offense of junior striker, CJ and the defense of junior Matt. Team Black was led by sophomore sensation, Sam and freshman phenom, Max. Our final two sessions leading us into the Thanksgiving Break will be this Tuesday November 16th and the following Monday, November 22nd.
