Craig School Emergency Contact System
Craig School uses a multi-tiered communication system designed to give families the highest level of certainty that you are made aware of any change in the opening or closing status of Craig Lower Middle School and Craig High.
Multi-Tier NotificationThe Craig Notification call is a voice activated system so you need to say HELLO once and allow the system to activate. If you say HELLO followed by another HELLO in rapid succession, the system will not activate and not start the recorded message. If you are unable to take the call, it will leave a message.
An email blast is sent to all families and students notifying them of any change in school status. Please note that emails depend on internet connectivity — if internet service is down, email notifications may not be deliverable.
Any changes to Craig School's status are posted on News 12 on Cablevision. Updates scroll along the bottom of the screen and refresh regularly. Visit newjersey.news12.com/new-jersey-school-closings to check online.

Absences, Late Arrivals & Early Pick-Ups
If a student will be absent, is running late, or needs to be picked up early, please contact the Craig High School Main Office directly. All changes to your teen's arrival or departure status must be reported before the start of 1st period.
- 1 Contact the main office before 8:25 AM on any day your teen is absent, arriving late, or leaving early.
- 2 If the office does not hear from you, we will phone the parent's cell number on file to check on your student's status.
- 3 Early pick-ups should also be communicated in advance so office staff can have your teen ready.
This process applies to all absences, late arrivals, and early departures — even if you have already emailed a teacher.
HS Lunch Ordering — myfooddays.com
Craig High School runs a convenient monthly lunch delivery program through myfooddays.com. Returning families can log in and place orders as usual. New families will need to create an account — it only takes a few minutes.
