Growing Seeds — and Students — All Year Long

Lower School students have spent many years growing vegetables from seeds for the garden, teaching the concept of sustainability in Social Studies and Gardening Club. The outdoor garden deepens this tradition by expanding the growing season far beyond spring and fall.

Now, students plant seeds and watch them grow all winter in their science classes thanks to new grow houses and hydroponic gardens — ensuring that nature's beauty and hands-on learning surround students all year long.

Gardening Club & Social Studies
Vegetables grown from seeds connect sustainability concepts to real-world stewardship of the earth.
Grow Houses & Hydroponic Gardens
Indoor grow houses let students tend seeds through winter science classes, extending the learning cycle year-round.
