Thank you to all of the families that helped make our Halloween celebration such a festive occasion for our students! The trunks were amazing, the parties were entertaining, and the snacks were delicious! Our students had a great time, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Halloween was an incredible community event. PACS is incredibly grateful to all the parents who donated and volunteered to make the day truly special and memorable. It’s a testament to the unique bond that exists within the Craig community. If you thought Halloween was already over-the-top, prepare to be amazed by Grandfriends’ Day!

Grandfriends’ Day is a special opportunity for students to share the joy of The Craig School with a cherished person in their life. Whether it’s a grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, mom, dad, or any other special individual, students can bring a grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, mom, dad, or any other special person to join them. Alternatively, students can come alone and team up with a Craig teacher or staff member. During this fun-filled, themed half-day, students and their special guests will embark on a magical journey. PACS will transform the cafeteria and hallways, and teachers will organize a variety of games and activities. PACS and The Craig School will also provide some delicious snacks. Please keep an eye out for an RSVP to this wonderful event on November 21.

Craig High School Guest Speaker: Alum and Founder of Triple Threat Team Building, Mike Phillips - The CHS PE/Health Program had a special guest speaker join them this past month. Mr. Mike Phillips is an alum of Craig, a current Craig Board Member, a graduate of Lynn University, and Founder and CEO of Triple Threat Team Building based in Palm Beach, FLA. 

He shared with our students his school path from Craig to College and the message that all students with Learning Disabilities are superheroes that just need to understand their superpowers and how programs like Craig and the support systems at Lynn helped him to find his.  He led our high school classes in some team-building exercises that focused on letting go of the little things so we can focus on the big things.  It was interactive, collaborative, and fun all at the same time!  We thank Mr. Phillips for his time and insights.
