This week’s CHIL will lead us into Thanksgiving break. For those who haven’t ordered DECEMBER Lunch Delivery for your teen, you still have today (www.myfooddays.com)!
Let’s close out this week’s CHIL with a holiday trio-what we are thankful for, a cool Thanksgiving Day fact, and a wish to lead us into the Thanksgiving holiday. We are thankful for our students, who are the true essence of CHS and the center of the village that we call our school family. Cool Fact: Did you know that Presidentially pardoned turkeys used to be sent to Disneyland to serve as honorary marshals of the Thanksgiving Day parade? And our wish is for all of you to have an amazing Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, and leftovers! See you in December,
Dr. Cap

Special thank you to Ms. Givens for all of her work to make this event happen and her special invitation for Charlie to be a part of this wonderful celebration.

INTEREST CHECK-CHS College Exploration Trip to Vermont in February: Ms Schmitt and Mr Furlong are gauging interest in a college exploration trip to Vermont. The plan would be to visit Landmark College and Champlain College. Both of these schools were recently a part of our GUEST COLLEGE VISTORS series.
The trip would happen starting Friday, February 20th, and return on Monday, February 23rd. The goal is to keep the overall cost as low as possible, but we won't know the exact figure until we determine the number of interested students. If you think your teen would be interested, let Mr. Furlong (NFurlong@craigschool.org) know by TODAY, Friday, November 21st so we can start to finalize our plan.
Badgers Wrap Up Fall Intramural Soccer League: Our fall soccer league wrapped up its intramural season by taking on some very special guests, The “Good Drill” Team. The Good Drill Team are a collective of former Division I athletes and current TikTok celebrities.
The game was a high-scoring affair led by the offensive trio of Sophomores, Vito and Asher, and Freshman, Elijah. The Badgers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. Our defensive wall, made up of Sophomore Erin, Junior Daniel, and our goalie, Mike B, kept us in the back-and-forth contest. Ultimately, the Badgers dropped a 10-9 decision. Not the outcome we were hoping for, but it was a great game to end our season. Big shout-out to the “Good Drills” Team. We will get you next season.
CHS Parent Membership Drive 2025-The Push for 100%: One more time before we head off into break! PACS is the heart of all of our student and teacher celebrations, and we need you. HS Parent Membership in PACS is hovering around the 40% mark, so let's see if we can change that. Your $100 membership makes all the difference.
PACS membership forms can be found under the COMMUNITY RESOURCES tab on our school website, or just click on https://www.craigschool.org/parents/pacs/. Slide down to the bottom of the page, where you will find the PACS WELCOME BACK HS FORM 25-26 PDF link. Fill it out, write the check, and send both in with your teen. Let’s make it happen for our kids, our teachers, and our school community.
