WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
Message from the Head Of School
NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

This week, we wrap up our Skiing and Bowling Programs and dive right into trimester exams and Parent-Teacher conferences. Speaking of skiing, although Mother Nature wasn’t as cooperative with snow this winter as our CHS skiers were hoping, Mt. Peter’s was still a blast. Big thanks to Mr. Furlong for pulling this together and extending such a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together on the slopes.

And let’s not forget that this weekend is our least favorite of our Daylight Savings Time.  Don’t forget to give that hour back that we have been enjoying for the past few months.  Speaking of weekends, also make sure you get your SPIRIT WEAR (Craig Gear Ordering Link) orders in.  The final day to order is this Monday and with DST, you have one less hour to place that order! Enjoy your weekend,

Dr. Cap

COMMUNITY NEWS

CHS Art Studio-SCHOOL PROJECT for Random Acts of Kindness Week:  This year’s “Random Acts of Kindness” week culminated in an amazing group project in which all of our students took part in.  Led by Ms. Steinel, our students created a large-scale heart collection in the style of American Pop Artist, Jim Dine who is known for his multi-media paintings during the Pop Art era.

Our “Badger Hearts-Love is All Around Us” group painting graces the hallways outside our Art Studio and reminds us daily that we are one big family who cares about each other!

ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHTS

March GUEST COLLEGE VISITORS SERIES: As college admissions reps make their way through NJ, our Director of College Counseling, Dr. Skerker, always makes sure that CHS is on many of their lists of HSs to visit.  In addition to our recent college guest visits from FDU and CCM, we have a few other college programs some of which are home to past CHS alum that we are proud to share will be visiting CHS and meeting with our students.  This month we welcome-

CHS Intramural Bowling League 2025 Updates: The CHS Intramural Bowling League kicked into high gear these past two weeks as our student rollers hit the lanes and laid the groundwork for our season-ending bowling tournament.

Just to give you a sense of the non-stop action at Boonton Lanes, here are some stats for you:

  • 4008 Pins Taken Down
  • 34 Strikes
  • 66 Spares
  • 6 Bowlers with Season Averages over 100
  • 2 Pitchers of Fruit Punch Drunk

It has been a fun season and it's all thanks to our bowlers and how they cheer for and support each other.  We are looking forward to our season-ending tourney!
