Message from the Head Of School
NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

Hello Craig Community,

At the Craig Lower & Middle school, we went into our holiday break with a wonderfully orchestrated and festive day. A huge thank you to Laurie Restieri, Nikki Arena, and Molly Vaporis, our science team, for organizing our Gingerbread STEM Day. Thank you to all of our faculty and staff who pitched in to make this day such a huge success for our children. Thank you to PACS for the beautifully decorated cafeteria where students enjoyed hot cocoa and goodies. There is no way this day could happen without everyone working together. The last day before holiday break is always full of energy and this tradition has been a positive way to channel it into creativity, teamwork, and community. The students leave with a bag full of compliments on their build coming from their fellow badgers.

I wish you all a wonderful holiday season, filled with love, laughter, rest, and the making of happy family memories. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us every day!
Have a great holiday break,

Jennifer Guthrie

Director of the Lower & Middle School

Valentine’s Day at The Craig School

Information will be coming from grade-level parents for students in grades 3-5 about sharing Valentines and having a little party. Be on the lookout for that this week. Students in grades 6-8 will have a festive treat in the cafeteria and challenge each other’s Valentine trivia with a Kahoot in the auditorium.

In preparation for Valentine’s Day, students have participated in making Valentines for those in assisted living. These Valentines will be brought to local assisted living shelters to make sure everyone feels the warmth this season. Go Badgers!
