Dear CHS Parents,
As we get ready to head off into summer, we just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your trust, support, and partnership throughout the school year. And although we have had a few big moments during our school year (college acceptances, prom, a couple of Eagle Scouts), a school year is truly made up of a bunch of small moments. Everything from early morning drop-offs, the late afternoon pick-ups, CHILS and Badger Reports, the occasional student check-in, the challenges, the Craig Cups we took back, and the small victories that we celebrated together.
This year, our students gave us quite a few small victories to celebrate. They grew as learners, classmates, teammates, artists, volunteers, and young adults. They showed up, well, almost every day. They took some academic risks without knowing it, represented CHS well, and reminded us daily why we do what we do.
We also know that none of this happens without you. Thank you for trusting us with your teens, for supporting our teachers, and for helping make Craig High School the true community that it is.
As we head into summer, we hope everyone gets some time to kick back, recharge, travel, sleep late, and read something good. For those students joining us for CHS Summer School, we look forward to seeing you on Monday, July 6th, when Summer School begins. Summer Morning Academics will run Monday through Thursday from 9AM-12PM through Thursday, July 30th.

We would like to close out our school year by sharing a couple of “-nesses”. We feel an incredible sense of “proudness” in our students for what they have accomplished this school year. We also feel a strong sense of “gratefulness” for you, our parents, for your partnership and for allowing us to be a part of your village. Have a wonderful, safe, and fun-filled summer. And if we don’t see you over the summer, we will catch up with you in the fall.
