Craig Teacher Feature 2026-ESPORTS Tournament of Champions
For the first time in Craig Teacher Feature History, students and teachers battled for ESPORTS supremacy-two tournament games, nine gamers from across the generations, ranging from Gen X to Gen Z. Not hard to figure out which Gen group took this year's titles!
Mario Kart was our opening tournament game, and the number-one seed, Christian, lived up to the hype, taking the crown. Miles took 2nd, but after that, it got interesting. In one of the most shocking outcomes in Craig ESPORTS history, Ms. Gallagher grabbed 3rd place in a photo cup finish.
Next up was Super Smash Bros. Mike B took the individual title, followed by Cal in 2nd, and Asher in 3rd. Our final overall TF ESPORTS Championship ring went to Mike B. See you next year. Game on! Â

 Ballyowen Golf Club
As we count down to our 20th Annual Golf Outing, we are incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our Craig community.
While our official registration deadline has passed, there is still time to join us on the course! We do have limited flexibility remaining for golfers and sponsors as final plans come together.
In addition, we are currently building our auction experiences -Â and we would greatly appreciate support through our Golf Outing Amazon Wishlist.
Whether you attend the outing or simply want to support the event from afar, every item donated helps make the day extra special for our golfers and guests while supporting The Craig School and our students.

CHS Class of 2023 Update: Josh Lands Aviation Maintenance Gig in Philly
Class of 2023 Alum, Josh, paid Craig High a visit and gave us an update on his post-CHS adventures. For those following at home, Josh graduated from CHS in 2023 and headed off to Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT) located in Williamsport, PA. Â
After his first year, he traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska, for a summer internship at the Lincoln Airport, a commercial and military-use airport located a few miles from downtown. He then returned to PCT and wrapped up his Associate's Degree in Aviation Maintenance.Â
After graduating, he landed a gig at Newark Airport on the De-Icing crew. These crews use specialized vehicles to spray wings and fuselages to keep planes safe. Next, he spent some time in Trenton working at Signature Aviation doing ramp work, which is a fancy way of saying he ran safety checks and prepared planes for their next flight. Next up for Josh is a position with Frontier Airlines at Philadelphia International, where he will be doing line maintenance (inspections and repairs).  That is one impressive resume. Way to go, Josh. Badger Pride! Â
CHS Summer Reading Choices 2026
Here is the link to our summer reading (CHS Summer Reading Options and Logs). Our CHS English Teachers have put together an amazing list of summer reading books to choose from. Â
In the link above are the titles and a brief description of each summer reading book option, a selection of highly regarded YA books. Each has a link to Amazon where they are available in various formats, from paperback to Audible to Kindle. Â
Most of the books are on the LEARNING ALLEY app, so once they make a choice, if you email Dr. Cap (ECaparulo@craigschool.org) the book choice, we can add it to their LEARNING ALLEY online bookshelf through their Craig School account, so they have the option of listening to it on the Learning Ally Audio App.Â
Each student will have two summer reading responsibilities. One is to keep a reading log (blanks enclosed, make copies as necessary) to chart progress and summarize after each reading session. The Second will be to choose a reading project from the enclosed list of project choices. There are a few options, and truly something for everyone to express their creativity and convey their interpretation of their summer reading. Reading Logs and projects will be due on the first day of school.Â
For those students coming to summer school, our summer English Teachers will help kids stay on track with their summer reading. Â
CHS Students Excel in District Spring Sports
At CHS, we embrace opportunities for our students, especially those that matter to them. We are proud to share the accomplishments of some of the student-athletes who have proven that success can happen in two places at the same time! We would like to recognize four CHS student-athletes who compete for their district high school sports team.Â
Sophomore Vito, who excels on his district soccer team in the fall, decided to challenge himself this spring by joining the Rutherford High School Track & Field, where he competes in relays and the various sprint events.Â
Freshman Jaiden is a member of the Kittatinny Regional High School baseball program. He pitches and plays shortstop for their JV squad and just got the call to join the Varsity team as a freshman.
Junior EV had a few spring options: continue with softball, where she played catcher the past couple of seasons, or join the Dover High School flag football. She chose the country’s fastest-growing high school sport, flag football, where she contributes as a defensive back and receiver.Â
Sophomore Joel is a point guard/shooting guard playing for the Hopatcong High School boys varsity basketball team. As a member of the Hopatcong High Chiefs, he competes in the NJAC-Colonial Division and had big games in wins last season over Warren Tech and High Point.Â
CHS senior, Sivert, is a standout runner not only at Roxbury High School but throughout Morris County, winning accolades in various county and state meets in the 800. He truly has distinguished himself as one of the area’s elite distance athletes, placing 2nd overall in the recent Morris County Championships. Â
