Anything But a Backpack Spirit Day - May 29th

Red Nose Day - May 22

Our committee is working hard to create another incredible day for our students. This year, we are sponsoring Covenant House. A speaker will join us to let us know about their mission and work. Leaders will share engaging lessons with students to raise awareness of issues facing this population. Our day ends with a student-run carnival created by the Leadership Council.

Teacher Appreciation Committee

We have been working to create a meaningful luncheon for our teachers next Tuesday and a spectacular show on June 10.

Snack Cart

This was our first week that our snack carts ran in Henderson and Wilson. Leadership presented this idea to administrators a few months ago and received the green light after working through some factors that could present challenges. This is our pilot program. After the pilot, we will evaluate how successful it was and if any adjustments need to be made.

It is yearbook time!!!!

8th Grade Graduation Updates:

  1. Please check your email regarding the 8th-grade spring spotlight plant sale. Contact Alyssa Chartier with any questions.
  • We are quickly approaching graduation, and Ms. Chartier needs your help! I am putting together a slideshow of all of our 2025 graduates and need the following from all families:
  •  a baby photo of your child (children)
  • roughly 6-8 pictures of your child (children) from toddler age, ranging to around 2023

Please email all photos to: achartier@craigschool.org

Also, on Tuesday, May 6th, I will be taking formal photos of each student in their cap and gown. I request that they wear a white shirt underneath so that it will not be a non-uniform color if it shows. If there are any questions regarding graduation, please feel free to contact me, as I am the graduation coordinator.

Please note that this request IS NOT for the yearbook! Any yearbook emails will come from Alessandra Edwards.

Advancement

THE CRAIG GOLF EVENT NEEDS YOUR HELP!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already supported our Golf Outing Auction by purchasing items from our Wish List! Your generosity is truly appreciated and is helping us build some incredible auction packages.

There are still plenty of great items available for those considering a donation, and other ways to pitch in if shopping isn’t your thing!

Here are 2 ways you can help.

First, our online auction will run alongside the outing, and we need your help to make it a success! Thanks to our generous Craig families, we’re bringing back the Amazon Wish List for easy item donations. Simply select an item, and it will be shipped directly to Craig School to be bundled into auction packages. All items must arrive by May 21st.

How You Can Help the Auction:

  • Golf Club Connections – If you’re a golf club member or know someone who is, a golf foursome donation or a member and a threesome would be a sought-after auction item.
  • Auction Donations – Have season tickets, a vacation home, or access to unique experiences? Consider donating them! Gift cards are also great additions.
  • Monetary Contributions – Cash donations are welcome! Make checks payable to The Craig School and drop them off at the Blue House.

Every contribution - big or small - helps make this event successful. Thank you for supporting Craig’s largest fundraiser!

For questions, contact:

Amanda Jahn (ajahn@craigschool.org), or Mary Calvano (mcalvano@craigschool.org)

The second way to help - attend the outing and/or dinner.  Details are:

19th Annual Golf Outing, Dinner & Auction Fundraiser
